No Apple device to complete the scan?

Unfortunately, Apple devices (both iPhone and iPad) are the only ones that have the necessary hardware for creating the 3D scan of your face for your custom-fit cushion. Anything on this list will work, except for the iPhone X.

The scan can be initialized through a QR code and runs in an appclip inside Safari, which takes around 5 minutes to complete. See details here.

As such, you can borrow any device to do it, such as...

• From a friend, family member, or coworker

• A demo phone at an Apple store, or Best Buy (may require your own AppleID to log into for a Best Buy)

  • Note: This does not apply to Apple stores located in Japan.

• Purchasing or renting a refurbished iPhone XR or similar.

But, if you're still not able to secure access to an iPhone, the new Halo Mount with Universal-Fit light seal might be perfect for you, as no face scan is required!
