Existing Beyond 1 lens inserts will work with the Beyond 2 - however, only lens inserts ordered in 2025+ are compatible with the Beyond 2e due to physical size constraints.

There's currently no trade-in program available. However, you can order a Beyond 2 by itself and reuse your exsisting cushion, cables, and straps for $849 (USA pricing) [at this link.]

• If you wish to sell your Beyond, we offer paid IPD swaps for $69 (within warranty) or $169 (outside warranty) for second hand buyers, plus shipping. (USA pricing)

• New custom fit cushions may be purchased for $120

Beyond 1 is also compatible with the new halo strap & universal light seal as an alternative option.

• If you order a full kit + halo mount, it will ship out first with the universal cushion, followed by the Halo Mount later on.

• If you order a full kit + halo mount + custom cushion, headset + custom cushion ships first

• If you order an upgrade kit + halo mount, headset ships first

For any order edits, including changing the interface option, adding or removing eyetracking, or splitting fulfilment, please contact us at support@bigscreenvr.com or via a ticket on our Discord server! We can make the necessary changes directly and then refund or invoice you by email accordingly.

We'd love to provide this ability and may do so in the future.

However, this might not become available until 2026, as the team focuses on getting everyone their Beyond 2 and 2e first.

It would require sending your Beyond 2 back to us, and will come at additional cost due to the nessecary teardown and reassembly to do so. (as such, it will cost more than the $200 price difference between the two)

Not at this time. However, we're aware of the demand and will take a look at the possibility in 2026.
